Terms of Service

FiftyStar is an information product. We score college athletic programs against an athlete's real numbers and show you where they realistically fit, what it would cost, and who coaches there.

We are not a recruiting agency and we are not an athlete agent. We do not contact coaches on your behalf, negotiate anything for you, represent you, or take any share of a scholarship, roster spot, or NIL deal. We charge a flat fee for information, and what we charge never depends on what happens to you afterward.

Nothing here is a promise of a result.No product can guarantee a roster spot, a scholarship, a coach's interest, or admission. Our maps are estimates built from public data and modeling, and reasonable people can disagree with them. They are a well-informed starting point for your own decisions, and you should verify anything that matters to you before acting on it.

Most of the athletes we cover are minors. If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be the one who creates the account, agrees to these terms, and makes any purchase. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian set this up with you.

We sign you in with a link sent to your email rather than a password, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The Starter Map and Target Map are one-time purchases. The Season Pass and Household plans are annual subscriptions that renew automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel.

You can cancel any time from your account, under Profile, which opens the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep everything you paid for through the end of the period you already bought. We do not make you email us to cancel.

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe, and for most purchases Stripe acts as the merchant of record, which means your receipt and card statement may show Link or Stripe rather than FiftyStar.

If FiftyStar is not useful to you, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund it. You do not need to justify the request or complete a form. This applies to your first purchase of a given plan; we may decline repeat refunds on the same plan.

We sometimes issue codes that unlock full access without payment. They are for the person we gave them to. Please do not publish or resell them, and we may deactivate a code at any time.

The maps, scores, program pages, and written material are ours, and we license them to you for your own family's recruiting. Please do not scrape the site, resell the data, or republish our program pages as your own. Clubs and teams wanting to use FiftyStar across a roster should talk to us instead.

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is. Roster data, costs, and coaching staff change constantly and some of what we show will be out of date or wrong.

To the extent the law allows, FiftyStar is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they do not apply to you.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use FiftyStar after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts located there.
